Meghan Massaua

Meghan Massaua is a Senior Mediator and Program Manager in Meridian’s Washington, D.C. office. She has been an integral contributor and leader of projects in Meridian’s ocean portfolio, including advancing ocean policy, improving fisheries management, and increasing water recycling. A highlight of her time at Meridian is supporting regional ocean planning in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, a collaborative effort among federal agencies, states, and tribes to improve ocean management and decision-making by sharing information, engaging the public, and improving data access.

Meghan has over a decade of experience in marine science and policy, supporting a variety of efforts to advance research, engage stakeholders, build collaboration, and develop effective strategies for positive change. Prior to joining Meridian, she advanced offshore renewable energy at the Department of Energy and supported a variety of targeted marine ecology and policy efforts in the Northeast and Pacific Northwest.
