Lee Norrgard is an experienced program officer currently working at Meridian International Center since July 2015, where responsibilities include organizing influential visits for the State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program. Previous positions include serving as an independent consultant, vice president for programs at BH Development Group, and country director at Mercy Corps, overseeing significant EU and USAID-funded projects in Kosovo. Norrgard has held various leadership roles, such as chief of party and head of office at Catholic Relief Services, country director at the National Democratic Institute in Malawi, and senior program coordinator at AARP, managing national campaigns and team coordination. With an extensive background in advocacy, investigation, and public service, Norrgard's early career included roles as chief investigator at the Better Government Association and executive director at Common Cause Illinois. Norrgard holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from St. Olaf College.
