Meridian World School
Kevin MacWatters is an experienced educator currently serving as a Computer Science and Physics Teacher at Meridian World School since August 2016. Prior to this role, Kevin taught Physics at Del Valle ISD from August 2015 to May 2016. Kevin has a distinguished military background, having served as an Armor Officer in the US Army from May 1987 to December 2014. Kevin holds a Master's degree in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College, completed between 2010 and 2011, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where Kevin studied from 1983 to 1987.

Meridian World School
Meridian World School is a public, K-12, tuition-free charter school. We are located in Round Rock, Texas. Open to all students who live within the boundaries of Williamson County in Central Texas. Meridian is an authorized school for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP). Our Mission Statement (below) is directly tied to our belief in the International Baccalaureate Learner Profile. Meridian School's current enrollment is almost 1700 students. Mission Statement: Meridian School will provide an invigorating educational environment that develops responsible citizens who can artfully navigate our complex world and enjoy a good life with others. Each student will engage in diverse investigations, disciplined inquiry, and integrated service-learning to cultivate intercultural awareness, creativity, and mental acuity.
