Brendan MacKoff

Senior Director, Product Strategy & Operations at MeridianLink

Brendan Mackoff has a diverse and extensive work experience in various industries. Brendan started their career as a Research Assistant at Bowdoin College, where they assisted professors with their economic research. Brendan then worked as a Community Ambassador in the Kevin Stone Leadership Program at United Way of Massachusetts Bay, supervising fundraising campaigns and achieving fundraising goals.

Mackoff then joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston as a Research Associate in the Research Department, where they provided economic analysis and policy advice. Brendan later joined Analysis Group as a Senior Analyst, consulting on projects related to price fixing, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and more.

At TripAdvisor, Mackoff had several roles. As an MBA Product Manager Intern, they focused on identifying new products for Hotels B2B customers and driving revenue. Later, as a Product Manager, they rotated through four teams, gaining experience in various projects. Finally, as a Senior Product Manager, they led the end-to-end search experience, managing a large team and transforming the on-site experience for millions of users.

Currently, Mackoff is working at MeridianLink as the Director of Product Operations. In this role, they act as the chief of staff to the Chief Product Officer, scaling the product organization and driving strategy for multiple business lines. Brendan is also responsible for portfolio strategy, investment analysis, and capital allocation recommendations.

Throughout their career, Mackoff has demonstrated strong analytical and strategic skills, as well as the ability to lead and scale teams. Brendan has experience in diverse industries such as finance, technology, and non-profit, and has contributed significantly to the growth and success of the companies they have worked for.

Brendan Mackoff holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Enterprise Management Track from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Brendan attended MIT from 2013 to 2015. Prior to their MBA, Brendan obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Bowdoin College. Brendan studied Economics as their major and Computer Science as a minor from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Brendan also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter from the CFA Institute, which they obtained in November 2010.
