Carmen Guzman, PHR has over six years of experience in human resources. Carmen most recently worked as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at MeridianLink, where they served as the initial point of contact for a group of over 700 employees and led various engagement initiatives. Prior to that, they were a Human Resources Business Partner at the University of Southern California, where they managed HR functions for the Hospitality division and handled employee relations concerns. Carmen also worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at Solarflare Communications, where they responded to employee inquiries and managed the recruitment process. Earlier in their career, Carmen worked as a Human Resources Generalist and Pro-Pipe Business Partner at Hoffman Southwest Corp. Carmen has a proven track record of effectively managing HR processes and supporting employees throughout their employment lifecycle.

Carmen Guzman, PHR, has a diverse educational background and multiple certifications in the field of Human Resource Management. In 2013, Carmen attended Saddleback College where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Communications. Carmen then continued their education at California State University, Fullerton, from 2013 to 2015, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Human Communications Studies. Carmen further pursued their education at Saddleback College and obtained another Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business Management from 2013 to 2016.

In 2018, Carmen obtained a certification in Human Resource Management from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education. Then, in 2019, they achieved the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.

Currently, Carmen is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Human Resource Management at California State University, Long Beach. Carmen'sexpected completion date is in 2024.
