Philippe Pinatel

Philippe Pinatel is an experienced executive in the beauty and cosmetics industry, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of MERIT since February 2024. Previously, Philippe held the positions of Global President and Global General Manager at MAC Cosmetics from March 2018 to February 2024. Philippe's earlier roles include President and COO of Birchbox, and SVP and GM of Sephora Canada, as well as VP, GM of Sephora Inside JCPenney. Philippe gained significant international experience at Guerlain, where the career spanned from 1999 to 2010, including roles as General Manager Korea and Travel Retail North Europe Manager. Philippe also served as China Brand Manager at Guerlain, focusing on brand development in China, and as Area/Brand Manager at Clarins. Philippe holds an MBA in Marketing from London Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce in International Marketing from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
