Vanessa Krooss

Vanessa Krooss has a wealth of work experience in the communications and public relations field. In 2022, they began working as the PR + Partnerships Lead at MERIT. Prior to that, they were the Global Communications Lead and Assistant Manager at Allbirds from 2018-2022. From 2016-2018, they were an Account Executive and Account Coordinator at Bite Communications, where they managed day-to-day account coordination and client relations, conducted media and analyst outreach, and developed content. From 2015-2016, they were a Public Relations Associate at Blanc & Otus. From 2014-2015, they were a Communications Intern at The Philanthropy Workshop West, where they created communications material, did data entry and created reports on Salesforce, and did extensive research on issue areas. From 2013-2014, they were a Museum Ambassador Intern at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Lastly, from 2012-2013, they were an Editorial Intern at Common Sense Media, and a Fashion Editor and Featured Writer at ST.ART Magazine, where they ran and edited the fashion section, wrote featured articles, conducted interviews, oversaw fashion networking, managed a team of fashion writers, and organized photo shoots with up-and-coming, young designers.

Vanessa Krooss attended the University of St Andrews from 2011 to 2015, where they studied Art History. Prior to this, they attended San Francisco University High School from 2007 to 2011.
