Patrick Wells

Outside Counsel at Merit Financial Solutions

Patrick Wells is Outside Counsel and advises management on compliance, regulatory, and legal matters. Patrick graduated from Northeastern State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice in 1998, and his law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2004. While attending law school, Patrick worked for an Oklahoma City law firm primarily focused on Consumer Protection Law, SEC Regulation, and Financial Law. After graduation, he gained extensive knowledge in the fields of Corporate Law, Consumer Protection, Corporate Governance and Licensure, Bankruptcy Law, Oil & Gas, and Property Law.

Patrick is admitted to practice in Oklahoma, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma, and the United States District Courts for Bankruptcy for the Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Oklahoma.

Prior to completing his undergraduate degree, Patrick was a member of the U.S. Army Military Police Corps, to which he received an honorable discharge from active duty in 1996. He continued to serve in the U.S. Army Reserves until 1998.
