Phillip Ley

Phillip Ley has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Phillip was the owner of the Mississippi Breast Center. Phillip then worked as a Faculty Member in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Phillip also served as the Medical Director of Oncology Services at Merit Health. Currently, they are a Teaching Faculty member at the School of Oncoplastic Surgery.

Phillip Ley has an extensive education history. Phillip earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from The University of Texas at Austin, completing their studies from 1978 to 1982. Phillip then went on to obtain a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Baylor College of Medicine, where they studied from 1984 to 1988.

Following their medical degree, Phillip Ley pursued a General Surgery Residency at Texas A&M Health Science Center from 1988 to 1993, specializing in Baylor/Scott & White. Phillip completed their education journey with a Fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, from 1993 to 1996.
