Akshay Chennupati

Akshay Chennupati has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Akshay is currently working at Merit Incentives as a Staff Software Engineer, starting in February 2022. Before that, they worked at CAFU as a Lead Software Engineer from September 2019 to January 2022. Prior to that, they were employed at Careem as a Backend Engineer from September 2018 to August 2019. Akshay also has entrepreneurial experience as a Co-Founder of Commut from April 2016 to August 2018. Akshay started their career at D. E. Shaw India Software Private Limited as a Member Technical from July 2014 to April 2016 and gained early experience as an SDE Intern at Uurmi Systems from May 2013 to July 2013.

Akshay Chennupati completed their primary education at St. Mary's High School from the year 1996 to 2008. Akshay then pursued their Intermediate education at Sri Chaitanya Jr College from 2008 to 2010, with a focus on Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (M.P.C). Finally, Akshay attended IIIT Hyderabad from 2010 to 2014, where they earned their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science.
