Dave Anderson

Dave Anderson has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Dave recently served as the President/CEO of Merit Life Insurance Co. starting in October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at the McColl School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte from August 2014 to December 2022. From May 2019 to September 2021, they held the position of COO at National Guardian Life Insurance Company. Dave also had a short stint as an Executive Consultant at a self-employed contractor role from March to May 2019. Before that, they served as the CEO of InsPro Technologies from October 2017 to November 2018. In 2017, they worked as the SVP and Head of US Individual Life Reinsurance at SCOR from January to May. Prior to these roles, they held various positions at TIAA-CREF, including President & CEO of TIAA-CREF Life Insurance Co. from August 2012 to October 2016 and Sr. Managing Director of Enterprise Integration from August 2010 to August 2012. Dave started their career in 1983 at Thrivent Financial, where they served as a Sr. Vice President until August 2010.

Dave Anderson earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Concordia College, which they attended from 1979 to 1983. Prior to that, from 1975 to 1979, they attended Rugby High School. Later on, from 1995 to 1997, Dave pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
