Global Portfolio Director- EP & Structural Heart at Merit Medical Systems

Damian Lynch has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Damian started their career as a Special Agent at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, where they investigated and enforced federal laws related to alcohol, tobacco, firearms, explosives, and arson. After working in law enforcement, Damian joined Eli Lilly as a Senior Sales Representative, responsible for institutional sales of psychiatric pharmaceuticals in the long term care market. Damian then transitioned to Boston Scientific, where they held two roles - Manager of the Fellows Program, where they designed and executed technical training and education initiatives, and Senior Sales Representative, where they provided sales and clinical support for CRM products. Damian then moved to Abiomed, where they served as the Director of Key Accounts for the Northeast region, overseeing education programs and field implementation. Following their tenure at Abiomed, Damian joined HeartWare Inc as the Director of Global Training, where they developed training strategies for the global sales and clinical organization. Later, Damian worked at Siemens Healthineers in their Education Services department. Currently, Damian is the Global Portfolio Director for EP & Structural Heart at Merit Medical Systems, Inc., where they manage the company's portfolio, focusing on EP and structural heart products. Throughout their career, Damian has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a passion for developing and implementing training and education programs to improve patient safety and expand access to care.

Damian Lynch obtained their BA in Psychology/Government from Georgetown University between 1991 and 1995. Currently, they are pursuing a Certificate in Business Administration and Management, General at Rutgers Business School. Additionally, Damian is in progress of completing their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the University of Connecticut.
