Alejandro Luna

Alejandro Luna possesses a diverse background combining mechanical engineering and music performance. Currently serving as Building Operations Staff at Merit School of Music since October 2018, Alejandro manages facility operations and supports faculty needs. Hands-on experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at ENTRUST Solutions Group and dbHMS has allowed Alejandro to engage in design evaluation, conflict analysis, and model development using Revit, while also assisting in project management at Craft Mechanical LLC as a Project Engineer. Previous roles include Aquarium Technician at Blue Planet Aquarium Services and Jazz Librarian at the University of Illinois Chicago, highlighting a commitment to both technical and artistic pursuits. Alejandro holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago, an Associate's degree in Engineering from City Colleges of Chicago-Harold Washington College, and a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from the University of Illinois Chicago, showcasing a well-rounded educational foundation.
