Merit School of Music
Katelyn Curtin is an accomplished music educator and teaching artist with extensive experience in various educational and artistic settings. Currently, Katelyn serves as a Music Teacher at Great Lakes Academy Charter School and as a General Music Teaching Artist at The People's Music School. Katelyn also fulfills the role of Teaching Artist at Merit School of Music and reviews high school musicals across Wisconsin for the Jerry Awards at Overture Center for the Arts. Katelyn has been an influential Teaching Artist for the Children’s Theater of Madison since 2020, contributing as a director, choreographer, and lead teaching artist in multiple productions. Katelyn's previous roles include advising positions with Phi Mu Fraternity and serving as a Voice Teacher at Stoughton Center for the Arts, along with a Ballet Instructor position at Ballet U. Katelyn graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Oklahoma City University in 2021.
