Carlene Vargas, MAFM

Carlene Vargas, MAFM has a diverse work experience that spans over several roles and companies. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Senior Accountant at Fidelity National Financial until 2009. Then, they held the position of Temporary Accountant at Cascade Investment for a brief period. From 2009 to 2014, Carlene worked as an Assistant Controller at PayNorthwest. Following that, they served as the Controller at various companies including Eagle Beverage & Accessory Products, HRnovations, and SKC Communications. In 2019, they became the Finance Lead for MS Dynamics 365 Implementation at CST Industries, Inc. Carlene'snext position was as a Finance Implementation Analyst at RPM International Inc. from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Carlene holds the role of Finance Solution Architect and Consulting Manager at Merit Solutions, which they started in 2022.

Carlene Vargas, MAFM, obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and Sociology from The University of Kansas between 1990 and 1994. Carlene later pursued their Master of Arts degree in Accounting and Financial Management with Distinction from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, completing their studies from 2007 to 2010.
