Christopher Walker

President, Emergency Services at Merit

Christopher Walker is the current President of Emergency Services at Merit. Christopher has over 9 years of experience in the field of emergency management. Prior to their current position, Walker served as the Senior Vice President of Emergency Management for WSP USA. In this role, they were responsible for the oversight, implementation, and proper project closeout for the CalRecycle 2020 Hazardous Fire Tree and Debris contract. Christopher also served as the contract manager for the USACE Advanced Contract Initiative (ACI) Emergency Power Contract. In this role, they were responsible for program and mission planning, training, exercises, and actioning into response/deployments.

The educational career for Christopher Walker includes a 10-Year Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) from the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM). Christopher also has a Masters of Science in Emergency Management from Jacksonville State University and is certified in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from the IAEM. Christopher has a BS in Business Administration from Methodist University and an Associates in Avionic Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.

Christopher Walker reports to Tomer Kagan, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Trevor Cornwell - President, Government Affairs, Tim Oliver - VP, Talent, and Dylan Avatar - VP, Business Development.
