John Cannon

John Cannon is a Senior Analyst at Merjent since March 2019, bringing extensive experience in environmental planning and project management from previous roles at AECOM, URS Corporation, Kadrmas Lee & Jackson, and KLD Consulting. At AECOM, John served as both Program Manager for Impact Assessment and Permitting and Environmental Project Manager from July 2013 to March 2019. Earlier positions include Environmental Planner at URS Corporation and Kadrmas Lee & Jackson, along with a Sub-Consultant role at KLD Consulting. John began the career as a Community Development Intern at the City of Eden Prairie and gained initial experience as a Community Program Associate at the University of Minnesota's Institute on the Environment. John holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environment and Natural Resources from the University of Minnesota.
