Luc de Heyn

Luc De Heyn has a strong background in business development and strategy. Luc began their career as an Internship Student at NEC Electronics in 2010. From there, they worked as a Master Thesis Student at Peer+, where they focused on developing a new switching concept for energy-generating windows. Luc then joined Comsof as a Consultant, where they worked on cost studies and presented to European Commission. At Comsof, they also served as a Business Development Engineer, responsible for introducing FTTx planning solutions to clients. Currently, Luc is the Chief Commercial Officer at Merkator, where they create sales, marketing, and product strategies for the company's business units.

Luc De Heyn has an extensive education history. In 2000, they attended Onze-Lieve-Vrouwe College, where they studied Mathematics & Science. Following this, they enrolled at Ghent University in 2006 and completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2009. Luc then pursued further education at Ghent University and obtained a Master's degree in Photonics Engineering from 2009 to 2011. In 2012, they attended Vlerick Business School, focusing on Strategic Business-to-Business Marketing. Additionally, in 2014, Luc participated in the Leadership Transition Programme at Vlerick Business School.
