Joe Tobey

Joe Tobey is an experienced data engineering and solutions professional with over 25 years in the industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Data Engineering at Merkle since May 2010, Joe is a subject matter expert for Snowflake accounts, driving the development of data products for various marketing segments and overseeing data governance. Previously, Joe held leadership roles at Merkle, including Vice President of Global Data Solutions & Products and Director of Global Data Solutions, where responsibilities included managing agile development teams, designing custom client solutions, and ensuring project delivery. Prior to that, Joe worked at Experian as a Project Management Expert and Programming and Operations Manager, focusing on IT project management and software development. Joe's early career included a role at Database America as a Programming and Operations Supervisor. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
