Leigh Holmwood

Leigh Holmwood currently serves as Head of UK PR at Merlin Entertainments, overseeing public relations for various Midway brands, including Madame Tussauds and The London Eye. Prior to this role, Leigh operated as a Freelance Consultant, providing PR and communications expertise to clients such as the tech start-up Wakey!. Experience also includes significant positions at Fremantle UK as Publicity Consultant for major TV brands like The X Factor, as well as previous roles at ITV, The Sun, and The Guardian. Leigh began a career in journalism after winning an award from City Life magazine, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Manchester and a NCTJ qualification in journalism from The Sheffield College.
