Sanil Sinai Borkar

Sanil Sinai Borkar started their career at Tata Consultancy Services in 2010, where they worked as a Systems Engineer. Sanil was involved in projects such as the Account Opening System and the User Case Dispute Resolution System, utilizing technologies such as C#.NET, ASP.NET, and VB.

In 2015, Sanil joined Amazon Web Services as a Software Development Engineer Intern. During their internship, they focused on automatic configuration generation and management of network devices, optimizing the configuration storage/retrieval process using Python.

Following their internship, Sanil continued their journey at Amazon Web Services as a Software Development Engineer from 2016 to 2017. In this role, they played an instrumental part in automating the provisioning of network devices and establishing/maintaining peering connections. Sanil achieved significant improvements, including a 50% reduction in device operational time and a 25% speed-up in network capacity delivery. Sanil also mentored a new hire during their tenure.

Sanil then joined Businessolver in 2017 as a Software Engineer II, where they designed and developed a chatbot called Sofia. Sofia aimed to reduce customer wait times for benefits-related queries and was capable of supporting 18 languages in both text and voice. By utilizing Sofia, Businessolver achieved a 30% reduction in incoming phone calls to customer service.

In 2020, Sanil transitioned to Half Epsilon, working as a Software Engineer until 2021.

Sanil's most recent role is as a Senior Data Engineer at Merlyn Mind, starting in 2021. The details of their responsibilities in this position are not provided.

Sanil Sinai Borkar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from Goa Engineering College - Government of Goa in the years 2006-2010. Sanil then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Florida, graduating in the years 2014-2015.
