Amit Prakash

Amit Prakash is a highly experienced technology leader and co-founder of ThoughtSpot, serving as Chief Technology Officer since May 2012. Prior to this role, Amit was a Tech Lead at Google from August 2007 to May 2012, where leadership of multiple teams contributed to significant algorithmic enhancements in ad serving systems, including the development of infrastructure for large-scale distributed machine learning and improved ad selection algorithms. Amit began their career at Microsoft as a Software Engineer on the Bing team from February 2004 to August 2007, focusing on distributed systems for web graph processing and PageRank computations. Amit earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
