Matthew Raeside

Matthew Raeside is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment banking and military training. Currently serving as Director of Principal Investments & Strategic Ventures at UBS since October 2019, Matthew has held various roles within the firm, including Associate Director and participation in the Ex-Forces Associate Programme. In addition to the role at UBS, Matthew serves as a Board Guest at MerQube and as a Board Director at Carbonplace. Prior military experience includes serving in the Royal Navy from February 2014 to September 2019, where Matthew held positions such as Advanced Air Warfare Instructor and Fighter Controller, providing specialized training and consultancy. Matthew holds a MA Hons in Modern History and Philosophy from the University of St Andrews and a certification from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
