David Gibson

David Gibson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the footwear industry, currently serving as the Director of Product for Global Lifestyle Footwear at Merrell since May 2025. Prior to this role, David held various positions at HOKA, Foot Locker, and New Balance, where significant achievements include co-founding the NB Black Soles Employee Resource Group to enhance the professional development of Black employees, as well as managing product lines for New Balance Basketball and Global Lifestyle. Earlier in their career, David gained expertise at Buckeye Running Company as a Running Shoe Specialist, where notable accomplishments included achieving the highest sales totals for a footwear promotion. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from Xavier University in 2013.
