Tassia Michaleas

Tassia Michaleas has had a diverse work experience over the years. Tassia started their career at Banyule Community Health in 1996 as a Team Lead, where they worked until 2008. In 2008, they joined Merri Health and held various roles including Manager of Counselling & Support Services and General Manager. Tassia eventually became the Chief Executive Officer of Merri Health in November 2019. Alongside their work at Merri Health, Tassia also served as a Board Member at Mental Health Victoria starting in 2017 and as a Committee Member at Robinson Reserve Neighbourhood House from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, they were a Committee Member at West Heidelberg Community Legal Centre from 2009 to 2014. Tassia also assumed a role as a Board Director and Deputy Chair at inTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence in August 2019.

Tassia Michaleas has a Bachelor of Economics from La Trobe University, earned in 1992. Tassia also holds a Bachelor of Social Work from La Trobe University, earned in 2006. In 2011, Tassia pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Swinburne University of Technology. Since 2015, they have been attending the Australian Institute of Company Directors, working towards a Company Directors Course.
