Jon Delay

Jon DeLay has extensive work experience in the architectural-engineering (A-E) field. Jon currently serves as a Senior Project Manager and business development professional at Merrick & Company's life sciences business unit. With over 33 years of consulting A-E experience, including international assignments, Jon has developed specialized skills in managing complex vertical construction projects and multiple task order contracts. Jon'sproject management abilities encompass various aspects such as client management, contract and subcontract management, scoping, pricing, scheduling, budgeting, team management, programming, planning, detailed design, sustainability, quality assurance, and construction administration. Prior to Merrick & Company, Jon worked at Burns & McDonnell as a Structural Engineer for eight years.

Jon DeLay holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from The University of Kansas. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from Colorado State University, which they attended from 1985 to 1990.
