Dumebi Dumaka

Dumebi Dumaka has a diverse work experience that spans different industries and roles. Starting in 2010, Dumebi interned at J.P. Morgan, gaining insight into the Prime Brokerage sector and acquiring skills in share price analysis and communication. In 2012, Dumebi became an Academy Mentor at ReachOut! UK, where they mentored young men in education, sport, and personal development. Dumebi then joined AIESEC as a Program Manager in 2013, helping develop and present a social project in Brazil that utilized sports to teach transferable skills. In 2014, Dumebi interned at EY to further their knowledge in finance. Moving into the finance sector, Dumebi began their career at Barclays as a Summer Intern in 2015 before working as a Football Player at Dulwich Hamlet Football Club from 2015 to 2018. Dumebi then rejoined Barclays and held various roles as an Associate Director and Assistant Vice President from 2019 to 2022. In 2022, Dumebi joined Datasite as an Enterprise Account Executive, focusing on private equity. Additionally, Dumebi took on the role of Director of Football at Dulwich Hamlet Football Club in the same year. Dumebi Dumaka attended Dartford Grammar School from 2005 to 2010 for their early education. From 2010 to 2012, Dumebi studied Maths, Economics, and Spanish at Ilford County High, completing A Levels. Following this, Dumebi attended BPP University from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Management with Finance. Additionally, Dumebi received certifications in Investment Management from CFA UK. They obtained Investment Management Certificate Unit 1 - Investment Environment in June 2017 and Investment Management Certificate Unit 2 - Investment Practice in May 2017.
