Stan Venne

Stan Venne has a diverse work experience in accounting and finance. Stan started their career at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. in 1986, where they held various positions focusing on forecasting, budgeting, PeopleSoft general ledger, and sales projections. Stan worked with internal and external auditors during their reviews.

In 2005, they took on the role of Director of Finance at Brilliant Cities Inc, where they managed all financial and accounting aspects of the company, including journal entries, payroll, monthly financials, fixed assets, and banking activities. Stan also created long-term financial projection scenarios and worked closely with the CEO on cash flow and financial projections.

Stan then joined Ally Financial Inc. in 2005 as a Lead Financial Analyst, where they coordinated the quarterly disclosure package for internal management, consolidated monthly business line results, and worked on quarterly SEC reporting. Stan also had extensive experience with Hyperion Essbase reporting package and PeopleSoft general ledger.

At Edina Realty in 2008, Stan worked as a Senior Financial Analyst, updating the estimated monthly earnings report and providing lease analysis for sales office negotiations. Stan also participated in the annual budgeting process.

Stan returned to Ally Financial Inc. in 2009 as a Senior Accountant in the GL/Consolidations department. Stan'sresponsibilities included coordinating the month-end close process, leading intercompany reporting projects, and acting as a point of contact for external auditors. Stan also worked with the SOX Department during their annual review of general ledger controls.

From 2012 to 2014, Stan worked at MoneyGram International as a Senior Accountant, handling trial balance uploads, journal entries, and account reconciliations for intercompany and corporate level accounts. Stan then took on a contract position as a Consolidations Accountant, where they loaded and verified subsidiary trial balance information in Oracle general ledger and completed entries for proper elimination of items on consolidated financials.

Lastly, Stan joined Ditech Financial, LLC in 2014 as a Senior Accountant, responsible for revenue journal entries, analyzing revenue and accrual items on a monthly basis, and preparing variance comments for meetings. Stan remained with the company until 2017.

In 2017, Stan began working at Datasite as a Senior Accountant, but no end date is provided for this role.

Stan Venne attended Saint John's University from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Stan then pursued further education at the University of St. Thomas from 1989 to 1993, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance.
