Merrimack College
Azam Noori is an experienced academic and researcher specializing in biology and plant physiology. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Biology at Merrimack College since August 2016, Azam has contributed to the field through research projects focused on agriculture and environmental health, including studies on bio-fungicides and nanoparticles in mycorrhizal plants. Previous positions include Post Doctoral Associate at the State University of New York- College of Environmental Science and Forestry, visiting professor, and adjunct faculty across several institutions, alongside a role as an environmental scientist at ACECR. Azam holds a Ph.D. in Biology from Tarbiat Modares University, complemented by a Master's in Plant Sciences from Shahid Bahonar University and a Bachelor's in Biology.
