Ellen Mcwhorter

Ellen McWhorter, PhD, is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in English education. Since August 2009, Ellen has served as the Honors Program Director and Associate Professor of English at Merrimack College. Prior to this, Ellen worked as an English Instructor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 1999 to May 2009. Ellen holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in English from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, obtained between 2003 and 2009, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Literature from Bucknell University.
