Mario J Acero

Mario J Acero is an Associate Lecturer at Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga since January 2016, teaching undergraduate courses in Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Energy Efficiency, as well as graduate courses in Management of Municipal Solid Waste. Additionally, Mario leads the GIRES Research Group, recognized as type A by Colombia's Ministry of Science and Technology. Prior roles include Assistant Lecturer at Universidad Santo Tomás Bucaramanga, Associate Lecturer at Universidad Industrial de Santander, and consulting for UNIDO. Mario holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes and multiple certifications in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
