James Ruddy

Jim Ruddy is an experienced academic with a robust background in philosophy education. Currently serving as a Professor at Merrimack College since September 2011, Jim Ruddy previously held the position of Adjunct Professor of Philosophy at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from May 2012 to October 2017. Earlier academic roles include Associate Professor at Seattle University, where courses focused on the History of Modern Philosophy, and Professor at the Graduate Theological Union and Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology, teaching topics such as Indian Philosophy, Existentialism, and phenomenology. Jim Ruddy began academic teaching at St. Edward's College, specializing in Eastern Philosophy. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Madras, an MA in Theology from the Dominican School of Philosophy & Theology, and an MA in Philosophy from St. Albert's College.
