Kirstie Dobbs

Kirstie Lynn Dobbs is a skilled educator and researcher with extensive experience in community engagement and political science. Currently serving as the Director of Early College and Faculty Community Engagement Strategy at Merrimack College, Dobbs oversees the Early College Program, which supports 150 high school students. Dobbs has also held roles such as Special Assistant to the Vice-President of Enrollment and Assistant Professor of Practice at Merrimack College. Additionally, Dobbs has consulted for organizations like the European Partnership for Democracy and the American Geophysical Union, focusing on civic engagement and environmental issues. Notable academic contributions include teaching courses at Loyola University Chicago and conducting significant research both domestically and internationally. Dobbs holds a PhD in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago and a BA with Honors in International Studies and French from Butler University.
