Nicholas Valente

Nicholas A. Valente, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Signal Processing Researcher at STR since March 2023 and as an Adjunct Professor at Merrimack College since August 2023, where courses include Dynamics and Vibration. Previously, Nicholas was a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from June 2019 to March 2023, focusing on computer vision techniques for vibration analysis and lecturing on Dynamic Systems Analysis. Nicholas's background includes a Research Assistant role at Merrimack College, investigating nonlinear dynamics, and a Systems Engineering internship at Raytheon Missiles & Defense. Nicholas holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, along with a Master of Science in Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution and Merrimack College, respectively.
