Michael Valley has a diverse work experience spanning over several financial institutions. Michael is currently employed as the EVP Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Merrimack Valley Credit Union. Prior to that, they worked at Bridgewater Credit Union as the Senior Vice President, CFO & Treasurer. Michael also has experience as a Controller at BankFive and Community First Credit Union. Michael started their career as a Finance Manager at The Jacksonville Bank and later worked as a Financial Project Manager at ING, formerly known as CitiStreet.
Michael Valley earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance, General from Stonehill College from 1985 to 1989. Later, they pursued an MBA in Finance, General from the University of Rhode Island - College of Business, completing it from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, in 2016, they attended the NAFCU Compliance School and obtained a certification as a Certified Compliance Officer.
