Michael DeMellia has a robust background in health and wellness coordination, currently serving as the Health and Wellness Coordinator at Merrimack Valley YMCA since June 2016. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Assistant Director of Aquatics at the YMCA of Greater Boston from July 2015 to July 2016, and worked as a Physical Education Teacher for Salem Public Schools between August 2014 and July 2015, where program development for grades 3-5 and the creation of the Physical Education Curriculum were key responsibilities. Additionally, Michael served as the AVID Coordinator for Austin Independent School District from September 2012 to July 2014, leading the development and implementation of curriculum while ensuring program accreditation. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield College in 2011.
