Taylor S. Payne

Taylor S. Payne is a seasoned professional in costume design and makeup artistry. Currently serving as the Registrar at Merritt Gallery and Renaissance Fine Arts since October 2024, Taylor has also accumulated extensive freelance experience since 2009 as both a Costume Designer and Makeup Artist, showcasing skills in a variety of techniques including corrective, beauty, and special effects makeup. Previous positions held include Costume Shop Manager at Round House Theatre and Makeup Artist at FORWARD PUBLISHING LIMITED. Taylor's educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts in Costume Design from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Costume Design and Technology from DePaul University, complemented by studies at Vancouver Film School. Taylor's diverse experiences reflect a strong dedication to the performing arts.
