Laura Merritt

Laura Merritt has extensive work experience in the recruitment industry, particularly in the chemical, polymer, coatings, and science-based industries. Laura is currently working as the Director at Merritt Recruitment, where they specialize in search and selection and contingency for these industries. Prior to their current position, Laura worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Whitehall Recruitment from 1999 to 2018. Laura also worked at Whitehall International as an Executive Search & Selection Professional, focusing on the chemical, coatings, and polymer industries. Additionally, Laura has experience as a Principal Scientist at the Paint Research Association and as a Council Member at the OIL & COLOUR CHEMISTS' ASSOCIATION.

Laura Merritt earned a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Kent in 1993. Laura then pursued a PhD in Photochemistry at the same institution from 1993 to 1996. In 2003, they obtained a certification as a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry from the Royal Society of Chemistry.
