Robby Swinnen

Executive Mentor and Managing Director for Asia at Merryck & Co.

Robby Swinnen has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership roles. Robby currently serves as the Executive Mentor and Managing Director for Asia at The ExCo Group, where they provide leadership acceleration and mentoring services to executives in a wide range of industries. Robby is also responsible for overseeing business development and expansion in the Asian region with Fortune 25 companies. In addition, they are a member of the Leadership Team and Strategy Board at Hudson Institute of Coaching, where they are involved in accelerating the next generation of coaches.

Before their current roles, Swinnen worked at Intel Corporation for over 25 years, holding various positions of increasing responsibility. Robby served as the Corporate Vice President and General Manager, Regional Sales Group, leading all sales and marketing efforts for Intel products and solutions in four global sales regions. During their tenure, they contributed to achieving record revenue and driving the highest stock price in 17 years. Swinnen also served as the President of Asia-Pacific and Japan, responsible for $12 billion in revenue and profitable growth. In this role, they redefined and strengthened Intel's market position and realigned resources with emerging strategic priorities and growth businesses.

Swinnen's experience at Intel also includes roles as Vice President of Sales & Marketing Group, General Manager of Worldwide Sales & Operations Group, Vice President of Intel Architecture Group, and President of Intel Japan K.K., among others. Robby played a critical role in implementing Salesforce, restructuring resources, and overseeing Intel's global sales and marketing efforts.

Before joining Intel, Swinnen worked at Ingram Micro as a Marketing Manager in Europe. Robby also gained experience as a Project Manager at Institut fuer Markt & Werbeforschung in Germany and as a Lieutenant in the 1ste Regiment Jagers te Paard.

Overall, Swinnen brings a wealth of experience in sales, marketing, coaching, and leadership development to their current roles, and has a proven track record of driving revenue growth and success in the tech industry.

Robby Swinnen's education history includes a BA in Communication Science from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, which they obtained from 1981 to 1986. Robby also completed the Intel Executive Accelerator Program at the Executive Education/Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2016.
