Sonja Meighan's work experience includes:

- Director of Services at The ExCo Group from January 2017 to January 2021. In this role, they reported to the President and provided consulting support for team and cohort engagements. Sonja project managed all events and captured insights, which they transformed into actionable documents for clients.

- Senior Associate at The ExCo Group from August 2016 to December 2016.

- Client Services Consulting Associate at The ExCo Group from July 2015 to August 2016. In this role, they assisted with team and cohort events, managed project logistics and output, and prepared documentation for mentors and participants.

- Summer Intern at Thrive in 2014. This was part of the Shepherd Program at Washington and Lee University, where they worked in impoverished neighborhoods and lived on a budget of $14 a day.

Sonja Meighan completed their high school education at Flint Hill from 2007 to 2011. In 2011, they enrolled in Washington and Lee University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Business Administration. Sonja successfully completed their degree in 2015. In 2012, Sonja attended the University of Oslo (UiO) for a summer school program focused on learning the Norwegian Language.
