Baher Daoud

Baher Daoud has extensive experience in quality control, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry. Baher is currently working as the Senior Director of Quality Control at Mersana Therapeutics since 2022. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, they served as the Director of Quality Control at Acceleron Pharma, where they provided leadership and oversight for GMP/GCP testing. Before that, from 2016 to 2020, they held various roles at Mersana Therapeutics, including Director of Quality Control and Associate Director of Quality Control, where they established robust quality management systems and implemented quality control programs. Additionally, Baher worked at ImmunoGen, Inc. from 2007 to 2016, serving as the Senior Manager and Manager of Quality Control Stability, where they led stability and reference standard functions and developed internal stability programs. Prior to that, they held positions at Acambis (Sanofi Pasteur) as Supervisor of Quality Control Stability from 2004 to 2007, at Pfizer as Supervisor of Quality Control Characterization from 2001 to 2004, and at Johnson Matthey as a Quality Control Chemist from 1999 to 2001.

Baher Daoud obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Northeastern University, which they completed between 1995 and 1999. Later, between 2002 and 2004, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.
