Joel Carroll

Executive Vice President of Global Sales at Mersive Technologies

Joel Carroll has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Joel is currently working at Mersive Technologies as the Executive Vice President of Global Sales, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, Joel worked as the Regional Sales Director at Mersive Technologies from January 2020 to February 2023.

Before joining Mersive Technologies, Joel was the National Training Manager/ Regional Sales Manager at WolfVision from August 2018 to January 2020.

From 2014 to 2017, Joel worked at Atlona in various roles, including Business Development Manager for Education Markets and Regional Sales Manager for Southeast - Commercial. Joel also served as a Training and Sales Support Engineer during their time at Atlona.

Joel's earlier experience includes working at Extron Electronics as a Regional Applications Specialist from August 2006 to March 2014, where they focused on building strong relationships and providing customer-oriented sales, support, and training. Prior to that, they worked at System Source as an AV Systems Designer from 2001 to 2006, where they collaborated with sales executives to identify and address client audiovisual needs.

Joel began their career at Caliber Learning Network as an Express Studio Technician from February 2000 to June 2001. Joel was responsible for installing and supporting audiovisual and teleconferencing technologies, developing training programs, and creating a quality assurance program for new studios.

Before Caliber Learning Network, Joel worked at elf as a media specialist in 1998, and at Caliber Learning Network/Sylvan Learning as a Studio Technician and Technical Trainer from 1999 to 2001.

Joel Carroll attended the State University of New York at Oswego from 1994 to 1998. Joel pursued a degree in Technical Theatre with a focus on Broadcast Media and Technical Theatre production. In May 2019, Joel obtained a certification as a Sandler Sales Bronze Certified from Sandler Training.
