Leadership Team

The Leadership Team at Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is responsible for strategic oversight and governance of the council’s operations. Comprising key executives, including the Chief Executive and Chief Officer for Planning and Neighbourhood Services, the team focuses on enhancing service delivery, ensuring community engagement, and promoting sustainable development initiatives for residents, businesses, and visitors. The CISO/Caldicott Guardian ensures data security and compliance, safeguarding citizens' information throughout these initiatives.
