Christina Burtner is a seasoned graphic designer with extensive experience in the snowboarding industry and digital photography. At Mervin Manufacturing, Inc. since March 2008, Christina creates original snowboard graphics, collaborating with a team to maintain brand identity and meet quality standards. As a Graphic Designer, Art Director, and Co-Producer at Think Thank since 2004, Christina has aimed at international recognition through the design of logos and art direction for multiple snowboard films. Christina’s background also includes photography for Ebbets Field Flannels, specializing in athletic fashion apparel, and serving as a Digital Photographer and Graphic Designer at the University of Washington, where a diverse range of photographic and graphic design services were provided. Christina holds a BFA in Painting and a certificate in Business Administration from the University of Washington.

Mervin Manufacturing was founded by snowboarders Mike Olson and Pete Saari in 1977. In an industry where virtually every other snowboard, ski, skateboard, and surfboard company has moved production to China or offshore, Mervin is the longest running and last major board building factory in the USA. Based out of Carlsborg, Washington, between the rugged Olympic and Cascade Mountain Ranges, Mervin is a direct link between riding and manufacturing.
