Umberto Vizcaino

Umberto Vizcaino has extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Umberto is currently the Managing Director at Merysol Security since February 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Principal Consultant at Merysol LLC from 2013 to the present. In this role, they led various engagements, including product definition and development for the hosting service provider industry and business development efforts in the US. Umberto also represented clients as a Program Engagement Manager and led business development and product introduction for start-up companies in Switzerland and Hungary.

Before joining Merysol LLC, Umberto worked at HP as the Director OSS and Consulting - APJ from 2004 to 2012. Umberto also held the position of Principal Consultant at HP during this time. Prior to HP, they worked at Schlumberger Sema as a Programme Manager/OSS Principal Consultant from 2001 to 2004.

Umberto's career began in 1988 when they founded Bridgeway Corp, a company that developed intelligent agents and middleware for network management and OSS applications. The company was VC-funded and had notable clients such as AT&T, Sprint, and France Telecom. Umberto served as the Founder CEO of Bridgeway Corp until 2000.

Their earliest work experience was at Boeing Computer Services, where they held the role of Director of Technology and Architecture - Network Services from 1985 to 1988. In this position, they successfully managed the development of the Boeing Network Management Control System and led various commercial projects for Boeing's network.
