Manuel Ferreira Mendes has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2010 as a Lawyer for Sociedade Rebelo de Sousa & Advogados Associados. In 2013, they joined Farrer & Co as a Paralegal and Costa Pinto Advogados as a Partner. Manuel also became a Member of General Assembly and Substitute for Sporting Clube de Portugal. In 2014, they were appointed Vice President of General Assembly for ANJAP (National Association of the Young Portuguese Lawyers). In 2017, they became President of Disciplinary Board for ANDDVIS - Associação Nacional de Desporto Deficientes Visuais (National Blind Sports Association). In 2019, they were Co-Founder & CLO for merytu and President of the Lisbon Regional Office for ANJAP (National Association of the Young Portuguese Lawyers). In 2020, they were appointed President of General Assembly and of the Employment Law Commission for JALP - Associação Internacional de Jovens Advogados de Língua Portuguesa. In 2021, they became Founder of Paramount Legal.

Manuel Ferreira Mendes has a comprehensive education history. Manuel began their studies in 2002 at the Universidade de Coimbra, where they obtained a Law Degree in 2007. Manuel then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Law and Management at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, which they completed in 2014. In 2016, they undertook Postgraduate Studies in Companies Law at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, which they completed in 2017. Most recently, they have been studying Scenario Planning & Thinking at the Nova School of Business and Economics since 2020.
