Dr. Torsten Hartmann

Dr. Torsten Hartmann has extensive work experience in the field of microbiology and quality control. Dr. Torsten worked at Merz Therapeutics from May 2017 to June 2021, initially as Operative Qualitätssicherung (Mikrobiologie) and later as Scientific Expert Microbiology, Quality Control. Dr. Torsten then became the Head of Microbiology, Quality Control in July 2021. Prior to that, Dr. Hartmann served as the Laborleiter Monitoring, Bakteriologische Qualitätskontrolle at IDT Biologika GmbH from January 2014 to April 2017. Dr. Torsten also worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Saarland University from February 2009 to December 2013, focusing on the regulation of carbon metabolism in Staphylococci. Additionally, Dr. Hartmann was a Short-Term Scholar at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in February 2012.

Dr. Torsten Hartmann completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Horticultural Sciences from Leibniz Universität Hannover between 2002 and 2005. Dr. Torsten later pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Horticultural Sciences from the same university, between 2005 and 2008.
