Markus Krueer

Markus Krueer has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Markus began their career at Clinical Research Services in 2004, where they worked as a (Lead-) CRA until 2007. In 2008, they joined Merz, where they held the role of (Senior) Clinical Project Manager for a decade. In 2018, they joined Merz North America as the Director of Clinical Operations, a position they held until 2020. Currently, they are working at Merz Therapeutics as the Head of Clinical Project Management and is responsible for the global clinical operations.

Markus Krueer obtained their diploma in Biology from The Philipp University of Marburg in the year 2000. Following that, they pursued a Doctorate in Natural Sciences (Dr. rer nat) from the Max Planck Institute for terrestrial Microbiology, completing their studies between 2000 and 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Markus Krueer obtained a certification as a Certified Project Manager from the International Project Management Association (IPMA) in April 2015.
