Michael Althaus

Dr. Michael Althaus has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Michael started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Philipps-Universität Marburg in 1988. Later, they served as a Medical Officer and Surgeon Major in the Bundesmarine, German Navy from 1989 to 1990. Michael then joined the B. Braun Group in 1990 and worked there as a Scientist and Project Manager in Clinical Research until 1996. Dr. Althaus continued to grow in their career by becoming a Project Lead in Clinical Research at Desitin Arzneimittel GmbH from 1996 to 2001. Since 2001, they have been a Principal Medical Expert at Merz Pharma.

Dr. Michael Althaus obtained their medical degree, Dr. med (MD), from The Philipp University of Marburg between 1981 and 1989. Michael pursued further education at the Université libre de Bruxelles, where they earned a diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine from 1998 to 1999.
