Paul Yates

Paul Yates has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Currently, they serve as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Mesa Laboratories, Inc., a position they have held since April 2020. Before that, from January 2019 to March 2020, Yates worked as a Strategy and Life Science Industry Consultant, providing various business management services to public and private companies in the life sciences market.

Between January 2014 and November 2018, Yates was the Vice President and General Manager at Beckman Coulter. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Hach Company, including Vice President/General Manager, Marketing Director, and Product Manager. Paul started their career in 1998 at Fisher Controls, a division of Emerson Process Management, where they held various roles such as Marketing Manager, North America Product Manager, Global Product Manager, and Operations Manager.

Paul Yates completed their undergraduate studies from Kansas State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering between 1992 and 1999. Paul then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in finance at Iowa State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2002.
